Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Please use our website to RSVP online! The RSVP page will become available to you once we get a little closer to our big day.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by Sunday, October 19th, 2025.

When should I book the resort by?

Ideally, it would be in your best interest to book the resort as soon as possible to make sure you get all the accommodations you prefer. Teri is available for help if you need it up until November 1st, 2025.

When should I arrive to the resort?

The wedding festivities will kick off on Friday, December 5th. You're welcome to arrive whenever you'd like, whether you want to join us early to enjoy some extra time at the resort or just in time for the big day. We can't wait to see you!

If I have travel questions, who should I turn to?

Teri Day will be able to answer any questions you have in regards to travel. You can reach her through her website link: https://cplnk.us/s/Q8kuGhme

Is the wedding going to be outside or inside?

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outside. The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach. If walking on the sand is an issue, ushers will be there to help guests to their seats. The cocktail hour and reception will take place under a palapa overlooking the ocean.

Where is the ceremony being held and how do I get there?

The ceremony is being held on the beach at El Dorado Seaside Palms. The staff at the resort will be able to direct the guests to the ceremony site and can order the guests transportation if needed but it will be within walking distance from the hotel rooms.

I keep seeing El Dorado "Seaside Suites" and "Seaside Palms." What does this mean?

El Dorado Seaside Suites and El Dorado Seaside Palms are two separate resorts that are connected. As guests, we will have full access to both resorts pools, restaurants, bars, and beaches. The Palms side is known to be more relaxing and quiet while The Suites side is a little more upbeat and party friendly. While our guests are allowed to stay at either one, El Dorado Seaside Palms is where all of the wedding activities are taking place and where the bride and groom will be staying as well.

What is the weather like in Mexico in December?

Weather in Mexico in December ranges from a high of mid 80s to a low of mid 60s. We recommend layering for cooler evenings. Rainfall is relatively low in December.

What is the wedding dress code?

We kindly ask that you wear colorful and bright cocktail attire!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

No, children are not allowed. While we love your children, El Dorado Seaside Palms does not allow entry for people under 18 years of age.

Am I allowed to bring a "plus one?"

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar!

What airport should I fly into?

The Cancún airport is the closest airport to El Dorado Seaside Palms. The drive is about 50 minutes!

What transportation is available to get from the airport to the resort?
